Garret David Christino will forever and always be our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and best friend. We lost our precious boy in a tragic car crash on August 14, 2020 that has forever altered our lives and the lives all of who love him. We vow to honor Garret’s immense love he gave to all who knew him and the indelible mark he left in our world through the Garret Cares Foundation and share the love he left us with many more.
Garret’s love ran deep and fierce in everything he did , in how he lived his life, and how he was able to connect with so many types of people from every walk of life. Garret stood up for causes that made a difference in our communities and was always willing to lend a hand no matter how big or small.
Keeping Garret’s legacy alive through his undeniable caring ways, his love for learning and his unwavering compassion by giving back in numerous ways is how we can become the best version of ourselves. This is our vision for keeping Garret’s love alive and the enormous joy he left in our world and in our hearts.
Our Mission
We seek to make our world a little bit better by continuing Garret’s legacy through educational and community involvement which support what was and will always be important for honoring our boy, Garret David Christino. Our core areas of interest include advocating for and advancing education, health, and providing essentials for under-resourced communities. We will continue to enrich lives by carrying Garret’s beautiful legacy of Growth, Diversity, and Connection. Although Garret is no longer here to do so, we will continue to “Reach Out More”, and encourage others to do the same.
Thank you for your love and support by helping to keep Garret’s beautiful loving and giving spirit alive everyday.

This was written on Garret’s to-do black board in his apartment during the summer of 2020 just after he graduated from college and just before he was to start his law school career. His love and concern for everyone he cared for was so great during the pandemic. He wanted to make sure they knew how important each and every one was to him by ‘reaching out more’.
