About Garret

Garret never met a stranger, only friends he did not know yet.

Once you met Garret you had a friend, a good friend and in many cases, a best friend for life. Garret’s loving ways started as a young toddler from his strong cheek kisses to his tight bear hugs as he got older. A most compassionate being with a heart for anyone who needed one.

Garret’s zest for life and fun-loving spirit always has been and will always be present. Garret was born February 27, 1998 and truly never stopped moving from before he was even born! He filled his days with various experiences and numerous passions. Whether he was enhancing his Spanish-speaking skills, perfecting his back-flip, learning how to cook, seeking new destinations to visit, or learning more about his Italian/Indian heritage, there were no limits to what Garret chose to take on and to accomplish. Garret strived to be a better version of himself throughout his life with his curious nature and never ending thirst for knowledge.

Garret’s quirky and sometimes sarcastic sense of humor was infectious. Garret was always smiling and had an unforgettable breathy laugh that made others laugh just listening to him. His positive energy became contagious quickly by lighting up every room he walked into. He may have been the smallest person in the room but he always had the biggest personality. Garret always enjoyed reaching out to his family , friends and meeting new people wherever he happened to be. Being social was one of his favorite pastimes. Garret was always ready for a new adventure, making new memories but mostly just having a good time.

Garret graduated in 2016 from Notre Dame High School, where he was a four-year Varsity wrestler, and involved in the Peer Leadership program and campus ministries. He participated in the Kairos retreat, which defined a deeper following of his faith. Garret’s faith became essential in everyday life.

When Garret was met with some incredibly profound losses during his High School years, his faith was kept even closer. He became a pillar of strength and hope to many family and friends. His star still shines bright.

Garret was selected to attend The Boys State Leadership Camp in 2015. This experience piqued his curiosity about law and government, which he later pursued in college.

Garret graduated from the University of Delaware in 2020 with a major in Criminal Justice and Psychology and minor in Legal Studies and Spanish. He experienced an amazing study abroad in Granada, Spain; served on the Executive Board of the Hen Law Society; sat on the Student Review Board of Appeals; served as Blue Hen Ambassador/Tour Guide; and volunteered with Project Sunshine.

Garret’s proudest moment at UD was being a founding Father and the Chartering President for his Fraternity, Beta Theta Pi.

Garret graduated with honors and was awarded a full scholarship to Widener University’s Delaware School of Law.
