Garret Cares First Annual Fun Run with Beta Theta Pi at University of Delaware
A huge heartfelt thank you to the Theta Alpha Chapter of Beta Theta Pi for organizing the First Annual Beta Theta Pi – Garret Cares 5k Fun Run. We also want to thank everyone who was able to join today despite it being postponed and also thank you to everyone who signed up.
We cannot thank you all (Andrew Gorski, Will Wallace, and Matt Hermesnu) enough for helping us to honor Garret and keep his legacy strong through this organization and the UD environment where he spent so many of his most treasured life experiences and fostered so many friendships during his college career and short time on earth.
The impact and love Garret shared with everyone he came across continues to be felt through his Beta brothers, his kindest friends, loving family and truly anyone that help us to honor him.
The donations received today will carry Garret’s legacy in helping to fund scholarships, leadership programs and underserved communities.
We very much felt his presence today and we are deeply grateful. Forever and always with us our boy is. Garret-We miss you and love you
